RPD: Two victims found shot on Canary Street, taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Around 9 p.m. on Saturday, the Rochester Police Department said they responded to Canary Street for a reported two-person shooting, between Driving Park and Lexington avenues.

Officers said they found two Rochester residents, an approximately 36-year-old male and a 39-year old female, who had at least one gunshot wound each in the lower body.

Both victims were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, having non-life-threatening injuries.

No suspects in custody, police say.

RPD detectives are investigating the scene and Canary Street is shutdown.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
