ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police continue to investigate the report of a pistol-whipping on Fulton Avenue near Bloss Street, after they were unable to locate the perpetratr.
Police responded to the area at about 3:40 p.m. after receiving a report that a male had pistol-whipped another person with a handgun and then ran into a residence. Officers established a perimeter and conducted call-outs, but he did not exit the home. The RPD SWAT Unit eventually executed a search warrant, but the male was not found.
Police said this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community at this time.
