RPD investigate after shots fired on Seneca Avenue Tuesday afternoon

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating after shots were fired on Seneca Avenue in Rochester Tuesday afternoon.

Police say it happened around 1 p.m. When they got to the scene, police say they found a house hit by gunfire and got information the suspect fled in a car.

The car was stopped, with assistance of State Police, near Hudson Avenue and Herald Street, according to police. They say the suspect was safely taken into custody and a handgun was recovered.

Police also say there are no injuries known at this time, and it is still under investigation. Check back later for any updates as News10NBC learns more.
