Rochester police investigate a double stabbing near Hudson Avenue and Pulaski Street

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Thursday, around 7:50 p.m., Rochester police responded to Hudson Avenue for a report of someone stabbed. This later led to officers finding two stabbing victims, but one was found on Hudson Avenue, and the other was on Pulaski Street, police reported.

When officers first got to the scene, they reported finding a 38-year-old Rochester man with a stab wound on Hudson Avenue. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police say.

Later, officers found a 23-year-old Rochester woman who was found on Pulaski Street with a stab wound, according to police. She was taken to the same hospital as the male victim and also had non-life-threatening injuries, police added.

Police note that the stabbings are being investigated as one incident that involved both people. No one else was injured, and police report that the investigation is ongoing.
