ROCHESTER, N.Y. — City leaders in Rochester were expected to release the first report of the city’s Vision Zero campaign. The initiative, launched in 2024, aimed to reduce traffic deaths to zero.
The campaign included infrastructure improvements like bump-outs at crosswalks, bright crossing signs, and speed radar cameras at certain intersections and streets.
City leaders were also expected to discuss additional steps they are taking this year to reduce traffic fatalities further.
Further information on Vision Zero can be found on the City of Rochester’s website, here.
