ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Red Wings officially have a new naming rights sponsor for the field: ESL Federal Credit Union.
Monroe County and Red Wings leaders made the announcement during a press conference on Tuesday morning. The field, previously known as Frontier Field and then Innovative Field, will now be called ESL Ballpark.
The renaming of the ballpark will become official once it’s approved by the Monroe County Legislature. ESL has been involved with banking and wealth management in the Rochester area since 1920.
