SYRACUSE, N.Y. — President Donald Trump campaigned in Syracuse with Bruce Blakeman, who is running for New York governor.
“With your vote, just 25 days from now, New York is going to defeat radical left Governor Kathy Hochul, and we’re going to send Bruce Blakeman to the governor’s mansion, and he’s going to do a job like you’ve never seen,” Trump said.
Trump talked about a new deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who agreed to release hundreds of thousands of tons of diesel fuel. In the speech, Trump also criticized New York Attorney General Letitia James, calling her a dog.
Former boxer Mike Tyson was also brought to the stage. “There’s no way in the world I would ever be here if it wasn’t for a president like Donald Trump,” Mike Tyson said.
Blakeman is behind Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul in recent polls.
