Police: Three SUVs involved in a crash on Thursday, at the intersection of W. Ridge Road and Minder Street

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Police Department said they responded to the intersection of West Ridge Road and Minder Street for a three-SUV accident on Thursday around 4:40 p.m. One person was taken to a local hospital.

Police say the driver of an SUV, a 56-year-old man, was going west when he hit the back of another SUV, which was driven by an 83-year-old woman. The crash caused her SUV to hit the driver of another SUV in front of her, a 29-year-old woman, the report mentions.

The 83-year-old woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by ambulance, and is said to be in stable condition by police.

No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
