ROCHESTER, N.Y. — One man is recovering after police say a fight lead to a shooting on Flint street Saturday morning.
Rochester Police says it happened around 5 a.m. when officers got a report of someone shot. Once officers got there, Strong Memorial Hospital told police a person had walked in with a gunshot wound.
Officers say the suspect and the victim were partying in the street before a fight broke out, and that’s when the shooting happened.
Officers later found the suspect at the scene based on the description they were given.
The suspect, a 25-year-old man from Rochester already on parole for criminal possession of a weapon, was arrested.
The victim, a 35-year-old Rochester man is currently in critical but stable condition.
