ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 23-year-old man from Rochester is suffering from gunshot wounds after Rochester Police say he was shot overnight on the city’s northside.

At around 12:05 a.m. Friday, police say they were alerted about a gunshot victim walking into Strong Hospital. The man had gunshots to his upper body and is expected to survive.

After investigating, police say they were led to the area of Hoff Street and Laser Street, where they found evidence of a shooting.

Police also say a home on Laser Street was hit by bullets, but nobody inside was hurt. No arrests have been made and police are still investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
