Police say they believe Hollins died as a result of the fire, but the Arson Task Force is still investigating. They also say they can’t for sure say why Hollins was at the vacant building, but they do say the vacant building was known to be frequent by homeless people and drug addicts.
The fire broke out at around 10 a.m. Dec. 7, taking about two hours to bring under control. The building, which formerly housed the Trinity Inter-Faith Church, was the site of an earlier, two-alarm fire in January.
