BATAVIA, N.Y. — Police say at least three people were hospitalized after a multi-car crash at West Main and Oak Streets in Batavia.
Police say a car heading eastbound hit another going northbound at the intersection around 7:40 a.m. Monday morning, causing several cars to collide.
One person was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. Police say they believe another person was brought to strong, and a third was brought to Erie County Medical Center. Both of their conditions are unknown at this time.
One of the cars involved in the crash caught fire. News10NBC’s affiliate in Buffalo said the car was fully engulfed in flames.
