Over a thousand walk to end Alzheimer’s, raise more than $330,000 at Innovative Field

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – More than a thousand people participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Innovative Field on Saturday. The annual event, organized by the Alzheimer’s Association, aimed to help find a cure for the disease affecting nearly 7 million Americans.

Tom Kearney of the executive leadership team said, “It’s been unbelievable this year; for the first time ever actually we exceeded our goal before walk day, so it’s been a great turnout great fundraising and everyone is really enthusiastic about it.”

The event exceeded its fundraising goal, raising more than $330,000.
