OAKFIELD, N.Y. — A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car on Wednesday night on Batavia Oakfield Townline Road in Oakfield.
Genesee County sheriff’s deputies say James Emery, 52, of Oakfield, died at the scene. The crash happened just before 9:40 p.m.
The sheriff’s office says neither the driver nor the passenger of the other car were injured. Deputies are still investigating the cause of the crash and are looking for video and witnesses. Anyone with information or dash-camera video is asked to call an investigator at 585-345-3000 ext. 3576.
The Oakfield and East Pembroke fire departments also responded to the crash.
