MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. – Monroe County has become the first in New York state to launch a custom Alexa skill for recycling questions. This initiative is one of the few in the country.
The Alexa skill is free to enable through the Alexa Skill Store on an Amazon smart device or by downloading the app on a smartphone.
Residents can ask questions about what to toss in their curbside bin or what can be dropped off at an ecopark by saying, “Alexa, open Monroe County Recycling.”
