FARMINGTON, N.Y. – The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said that a pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing an intersection in Farmington. Deputies responded to the scene at 10:29 p.m. on Friday.
Officials said that Nicholas Pruden, 33, was driving through the intersection of State Route 332 and State Route 96 with the green light when Cory DiSanto, 38, entered the crosswalk and was hit by Pruden’s vehicle.
The investigation and witness statements say DiSanto crossed against the light and that Prudent had the right of way.
