ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester Police said on Saturday, a man riding a scooter was killed after colliding with a car on Dewey Avenue and Avis Street.

The rider, a 33-year-old man, was taken to the hospital, where he died from injuries to his upper body.

Officers said the scooter rider was riding east on Avis Street and collided with a car that was traveling north on Dewey Avenue.
