ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester’s local restaurants served up their best soups Saturday at the Souper Bowl of Caring, a community tasting event benefiting Story of Hope Comfort Care Home.
Held at the Gates Senior Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., soup enthusiasts sampled a variety of soups — from classic favorites to chef-inspired creations — and voted for their favorites. The event brought together neighbors, food lovers, and local chefs in support of Story of Hope’s mission to provide comfort care to those in the final stages of life.
“Souper Bowl is about more than just great food; it’s about connecting with neighbors and supporting our mission,” said Arlene Nanry of Story of Hope.
