Winnipeg Jets defenseman Colin Miller will be sidelined on a week-to-week basis following knee surgery, head coach Scott Arniel announced on Saturday.
Per Arniel, Miller’s procedure was similar to that of star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. The three-time Vezina Trophy recipient was out for three weeks following his surgery.
Miller, 33, sustained his injury following a collision with Arseny Gritsyuk in Sunday’s 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils. He was placed on injured reserve the following day.
Miller has one assist and averages 13:45 of ice time in 15 games this season.
