Helming announces candidacy for re-election to NYS Senate

MACEDON, N.Y. — State Sen. Pam Helming Sunday announced the launch of her re-election campaign.

Helming, R-Canandaigua, represents the 54th District, which includes Ontario, Livingston and Wayne counties as well as the Monroe County towns of Chili, Mendon, Riga, Rush and Wheatland. A former Canandaigua town supervisor, she has represented the district on the Senate since 2017. She chairs the minority Republican conference in the Senate and is the ranking member of the Insurance Committee.

“You sent me to Albany to be your voice and I’m delivering for you,” Helming said, speaking to supporters in Macedon. “Opportunity means jobs that stay local. Affordability means fighting costs that hit families and seniors the hardest. Results mean showing up, doing the work, and bringing real solutions back home.”
