This version of the play is set in 2015, where technology and relationship roles are quite different than in Shakespeare’s time.
The free performance starts at 8 p.m. There will be a performance every evening at 8 p.m., except Mondays and Tuesdays, through Saturday, July 25. There will also be a deaf-friendly show on Saturday, July 18. You can learn more about the show and see the cast here. This week, News10NBC stopped by the dress rehearsal for the show. See our coverage here.

The Memorial Art Gallery will host its annual Pride Celebration Day on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is free and aims to celebrate acceptance, art, and community joy. People attending are encouraged to wear Pride or rainbow attire.
The celebration includes music from the Flower City Pride Band, a drag story hour, drag performances, hands-on arts and crafts, and community resource tables. People can also walk through the museum’s galleries, which close at 8 p.m. Outdoor activities and entertainment will continue until 9 p.m.
Rochester Cool Sweep
The City of Rochester has issued a Cool Sweep for Thursday as New10NBC tracks warm temperatures. Any time temperatures are forecasted to reach 85 degrees or higher, the city provides free access to cooling resources through its R-Centers, spray parks, and libraries. You can see News10NBC’s guide to the Cool Sweep here.
In addition, counties across New York State have designated cooling centers set up where people can go to escape the heat. You can search for your nearest cooling center here.
