Gunfire hits business on Monroe Avenue

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating after a business on Monroe Avenue between Alexander and Union streets was hit by gunfire on Friday morning.

News10NBC’s photojournalist saw dozens of police cruisers at the scene, with part of the road closed off. RPD says officers responded around 1:30 a.m. after getting a report of gunshots. None of the people inside the building were hurt.

There’s no word on any arrests. RPD is asking anyone with information to call 911.
