GREECE, N.Y. — Greece Police say a father and his 4-year-old son were found dead at a home in Greece Monday night in murder-suicide.
Police say on Monday night, police did a welfare check at a home on Squareview Lane in Greece. When officers went inside, they found the two dead.
Preliminary findings from the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office show the cause and manner of death has been determined as a murder-suicide involving a gun, police say.
Police say due to a child being involved, they will not be releasing the names of the child or the father. There is no threat to the community, and more information will be released later.
