Geneva High School assistant principal accused of ‘unwanted physical contact’ with a student

 

GENEVA, N.Y. — A Geneva High School assistant principal is accused of “inappropriate and unwanted physical contact” with a student.

The Geneva Police Department says it happened at Geneva High School on Tuesday, Nov. 18. James Junior Nunez, 50, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Officers arrested Nunez on Tuesday afternoon and he was taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment. Geneva Police believe this was an “isolated incident”, with no other students involved, but they’re still investigating. Police are working with the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office and the school district.
