ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A former substitute teacher for the Pittsford Central School District has been sentenced to over four years in prison for having child pornography.
Prosecutors say a search warrant was executed at Kevin Burns home in Irondequoit on Nov. 5, 2024. During the search, prosecutors say over 450 images of child porn were found on Burns computer.
In July, Burns pleaded guilty to his charges.
In a letter previously sent by the district to families and staff, it said Burns worked for the school from 2009 to 2024 as a secondary-level paraprofessional and substitute teacher.
