ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Tuesday will bring some nice sunshine to start the day with a few clouds increasing into the afternoon. The Threat Tracker will be Green for the next three days as no stormy weather is anticipated. After a frosty morning temps will climb to around 40 this afternoon. A few clouds move in for tonight and stick around Wednesday with temperatures headed closer to 50 degrees. On Thursday we might see readings close to 60 for a high temp. With the warmth will come a couple showers in the morning and then a steadier rain into the late afternoon and evening. That rain is due to a cold front that will pass by Thursday night into Friday morning. Clearing skies behind the front but much colder weather returns. Top temps Friday into the weekend will be mainly in the 30s. No storms expected but a few flurries or snow showers will be possible in the colder air. Next week we should see temps head back up into the 50s and low 60s as the pattern begins to favor warmer weather for the northeast. Stay tuned to News10 for timing updates for the rain later in the week.
