ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Cool Canadian air will continue to flow across Western New York for the next few days and likely continue through the weekend. At times the temperature will be running five to ten degrees below the seasonal average. Several cold fronts will cross the area for the second half of the week which will reenforce the cooler air. It will be dry the majority of the time, but the News10NBC First Alert meteorologists cannot rule out a few sprinkles late tonight and maybe another brief shower later Friday night.

Tonight, look for mainly clear skies early with increasing clouds after midnight. Again, a few sprinkles are possible during the wee hours of Thursday morning. The low temperature will be in the lower 50s. Thursday features a mix of clouds and sunshine. It will be breezy at times with the high temperature in the middle 60s, and it will be cooler near Lake Ontario.

On Friday you can expect morning sunshine with increasing afternoon clouds. There is the chance of another small shower or sprinkle late in the day with the high temperature near 70 degrees. The weekend also appears to be dry and a bit cool with the high temperature in the middle 60s to near 70 degrees.
