ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester firefighters freed a driver who became trapped after her car crashed and flipped on its side on Tuesday.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Glide Street and Buffalo Road. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw at least a dozen first responders working to free the driver, cutting through the car’s roof.
Rochester Police say the driver was turning onto Glide Street and hit a parked car. An ambulance took her to Strong Memorial Hospital to treat minor injuries. The driver was the only person inside the car. Police have not filed any charges and are still investigating.
