Farmington man charged after being accused of selling vape products to minors

FARMINGTON, N.Y. — A 20-year-old has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say he was selling vape products to minors.

Deputies say in the fall of 2025, they were getting tips about suspected drug sales and complaints about the underage sale of vaping products to minors in the Farmington and Victor area.

During the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a home on Bean Pole Circle Tuesday. Deputies say it was determined the defendant, Raymond Nguyen, was selling Nicotine and THC vape products to teens in the area. They also say vape products and about $14,000 in cash were recovered from Nguyen.

According to deputies, the products were paid for online, and Nguyen would then deliver the products.

Nguyen was released on an appearance ticket. He is expected to answer to the charge in Victor Town Court at a later date.

Deputies ask if parents find out about similar transactions to reach out to their school’s resource officer.
