SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. — The family of Mark Taggerty, who went missing on Monday, said he was found dead.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Taggerty left work under “suspicious circumstances,” Monday. Deputies say he was last seen walking eastbound on State Route 5 and 20 in the Village of Waterloo after leaving Frazier Industrial, where he works.
On Friday morning, some of Taggerty’s coworkers and family hosted a search party at Frazier Industrial in Waterloo. At around 2 p.m. Friday, deputies cancelled the missing person report for Taggerty.
