ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Have an old prom dress or formal gown you are looking to get rid of? The Fairy Godmothers of Rochester is hosting a dress drive at Marketplace Mall this weekend.
From 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday at the Fairy Godmothers Boutique, people can drop off prom or formal gowns in good condition, along with formal shoes, prom jewelry, and accessories.
Fairy Godmothers of Rochester dresses hundreds of young ladies each year for their prom. They partner with over 200 high schools and programs in Western New York to ensure that every girl can go to prom in her dream dress without financial barriers.
There will also be another dress drive on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the boutique, with the first prom fair set for Wednesday, March 4 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Prom fairs allow junior and senior high school students to get dressed for prom with the help from a personal shopper. See more dates for 2026 prom fairs below:

Wednesday, March 11: 4 – 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 14: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Wednesday, March 18: 4 -7 p.m.

Wednesday, March 25: 4 – 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 28: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
