BATAVIA, N.Y. — New York State Police say Exits 48 and 48A on the Thruway in Batavia are closed due to a multi-vehicle crash.
All westbound lanes are blocked off, and traffic is being diverted at Exit 48. All eastbound traffic is also being diverted off at Exit 48A. According to State Police, about 25-30 vehicles, both passenger and commercial, were involved.
At this time, only non-life threatening injuries have been reported, State Police say.
People are asked to avoid the area.
