GATES, N.Y. — A former Wegmans employee has been found guilty of murder after a deadly shooting in July at the Wegmans warehouse on Brooks Avenue in Gates.
Police say Kyshonn Green shot and killed J’Mere Ridley Smith during an argument at the warehouse. Green took off shortly after the shooting but was arrested in Tennessee by U.S. Marshals and brought back to Rochester.
Ridley Smith was 25 when he died. His mother shared photos of him with News10NBC.



Green’s sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30.
