ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Democrat and Chronicle sign in Rochester was taken down on Thursday.
According to the D&C website, the newspaper moved offices the week of Aug. 31 to a co-working space in Henrietta.
They said newspaper employees will work in a modern environment at Spot Co-Working, which is located on Goodway Drive off Winton Road.
The paper said the move comes in a decade when work habits have changed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the boom in video-based communications technology allowing people to work anywhere.
