ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dark Star Orchestra is making its return to Rochester this summer.
The Grateful Dead cover band will perform at ESL Ballpark on Wednesday, June 24 at 7 p.m. This will be their ninth time performing at the home of the Rochester Red Wings.
Last summer, the band performed at the Hoochenanny Whiskey and Music Festival at Camp Eastman in Irondequoit.
Although they didn’t perform last year at the park, another Grateful Dead cover band, Terrapin Flyer, performed in July.
General admission tickets for the show in June are $36 in advance or $41 the day of the concert. A dollar from every ticket sold for the show will be donated to Grateful Guitars.
Grateful Guitars is a nonprofit that gets world-class musical instruments for players looking to carry on the tradition of jam band music. It also funds existing music education nonprofits nationwide.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. You can get tickets here or at the ESL Ballpark Ticket Office starting Friday.
