CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a 21-year-old woman kicked three different deputies and tried to bite one of them during an arrest Friday.
It started when deputies responded to the Super 8 Motel in Canandaigua for a report of a physical fight. The Sheriff’s Office says responding deputies made contact with the woman, who was “highly intoxicated.”
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the woman had caused a disturbance and hit another person at the motel. The office says when deputies tried to detain her to investigate, she kicked three different deputies and tried to bite one of them. She was then brought to a local hospital.
The woman was charged with obstructing governmental administration and three counts of harassment. She was issued an appearance ticket and expected to return to Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
