ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The annual CampusROC’s Talent Fest took place Saturday at Innovation Square, offering jobseekers a chance to connect with more than 40 regional employers.
The event was open to students, graduates, veterans, and anyone interested in changing careers. Attendees explored downtown Rochester while enjoying music and entertainment.
Andrea Tuttle of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce said, “It’s an opportunity for all of Rochester to get out and have opportunities to network and experience what Rochester is all about. So it’s equal parts career fair and equal parts block party.”
“We want people to get out, meet all our amazing employers and also have a little fun. We want people to be put more at ease than at a traditional career fair,” said Tuttle.
Organizers emphasized that events like this help bridge the gap between employers and talent.
