Belarusian opposition politician Maria Kalesnikava freed by authorities, report says

 

Dec 13 (Reuters) – Opposition politician Maria Kalesnikava has been freed from prison in Belarus after serving more than five years, independent news outlet Zerkalo cited her sister Tatsiana Khomich as saying on Saturday.

Khomich said she had spoken to Kalesnikava by phone, the outlet reported.
