ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. — Work has started on a new Bass Pro Shop at Eastview Mall.
In October, Bass Pro announced the new store would replace the former Lord & Taylor space, which had been empty for years. The mall said temporary signage is in place and crews are on-site.

A long time coming
Bass Pro has been the talk of the town in Victor since about 2008, but News10NBC reported the project was put on hold in 2018 while the developer tried to get help from the state. In 2023, News10NBC’s Emily Putnam looked into the project again.

More new stores
Eastview Mall has welcomed a handful of new stores in the past year including Urban Planet, Lolli and Pops, and Zero Spa. Since March 2024, Eastview has welcomed fifteen new merchants to the property. Below Zero Spa, Capital One Café, Fabletics, Fries Fries Fries, Lolli and Pops, Rowan, Swarovski and Urban Planet are all under construction.
