ROCHESTER, N.Y. — According to Avelo Airlines, its base at Wilmington International Airport in North Carolina is being discontinued. This will cut off Rochester as a destination, among 10 other destinations as well.
This comes as the airline looks to streamline operations around its four primary bases, such as New Haven, CT; Philadelphia/Delaware Valley; Charlotte/Concord, NC; and Lakeland, FL.
Wilmington International Airport said places like Rochester will still be served by other airlines such as American, Delta, United, Breeze, JetBlue, and Sun Country.
