HENRIETTA, N.Y. — Jagger Joshua of the Rochester Americans spent time with children at the Henrietta Public Library, engaging them with a special reading session. This event marked the final “Reading Power Play” of the season.

Joshua read the hockey-themed version of “A is for Apple,” teaching kids the alphabet while introducing them to the sport he loves.

“It’s always nice. I like interacting with the community, and making people smile I think is very self-gratifying,” Joshua said. “So, coming here and reading a book and to be a kid again for an hour is always nice.”

Children who attended the event received free tickets to an Amerks game, signed photos, and a few lucky ones took home hockey pucks.
