ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Friday, around 4 p.m., Rochester police responded to Augustine Street for a report of family trouble. Police say they later arrived on scene, finding a person stabbed.
Police report that a 51-year-old Rochester woman was found injured. After an investigation, officers say that her son, a 29-year-old Rochester man, assaulted her with a sharp weapon.
The suspect was arrested on the scene, police say, and the victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured, and police say the man will be booked.
