ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The City of Rochester is hosting Flower Fest to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the City Mark.
The celebration is taking place in the High Falls District. News10NBC’s Declan Stablow was at the event, where dozens of people gathered to celebrate the logo.
City officials said the event is set to be an evening of art, culture and Rochester pride. The City Mark was designed around the city’s dual identity, representing both a stylized water wheel and a five-petal flower.
The event transformed High Falls into an outdoor market. Artists and vendors are offering City Mark artwork, clothing, and more.
The event also features live music and local food and drinks.
It will wrap up with a City Mark-themed drone show at 9:45 p.m., ending at 10 p.m.
