ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say crews rescued one driver and officers chased down another driver after a crash involving two cars on Wednesday night.
The crash happened at the corner of Upper Falls Boulevard and St. Paul Street around 10:20 p.m. Rochester firefighters arrived to find a Honda on its side and a man, 35, trapped inside. Firefighters freed him, and an ambulance took him to the hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries to his upper body.
At the scene, News10NBC’s photojournalist saw at least two officers running after someone. RPD says the other driver, in a Chevy Suburban, had an outstanding warrant and tried to run away. Officers gave him a traffic ticket after catching him.
Both cars were towed away. Check back for any updates.
