GATES, N.Y. — We went to a large emergency response scene on Sunday, around 9:30 p.m. on Lyell Road.
Our photojournalist is on the scene.
It appears that there’s a large black spot on the side of a house. A ladder is posted on the side of the house, with a responder on it.
A firefighter told us that the house is believed to be vacant.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Gates emergency responders are on the scene. Spencerport fire is also at the scene.
Multiple fire trucks are present.
A part of Manitou Road has been blocked off.
