The case started as a missing person report in October 2024. Deputies say she was last seen leaving her home on October 6. MCSO later did a welfare check at the home on October 11, but no one answered the door and deputies were suspicious. They found her body in the river on October 14.

Cell phone records, search warrants, and video surveillance led Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies to arrest Jamie, who worked at the Honeoye Falls-Lima School District, but was put on leave.

The district put out a statement in 2024 after Jamie was arrested, which you can read here.

Jamie’s trial was expected to start at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Stay with News10NBC for any updates as we follow the trial.
