BMW North America to recall over 87,000 U.S. vehicles over engine starter overheating issue

 

Feb 7 (Reuters) – BMW North America is recalling 87,394 vehicles in the U.S. as the engine starter may overheat, causing a fire risk, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Saturday.

Dealers will replace the engine starter free of charge, the auto regulator said.
