GATES, N.Y. — A former Wegmans employee accused of shooting and killing a co-worker was back in court Thursday for a hearing.
Kyshonn Green faced charges of murder after police said he shot and killed J’Mere Ridley Smith in July at the Wegmans warehouse on Brooks Avenue in Gates.
Two witnesses testified in court, including an investigator assigned to the case.
“It’s a tragedy… face another day without him,” said a family member of Ridley Smith. Green is scheduled to return to court for trial in late April.
