DENVER, Colo. — As the Buffalo Bills are preparing for their divisional round matchup against the Denver Broncos, Bills Mafia is also preparing for the game.
News10NBC’s Ian Mills reported live from outside Empower Field in Denver Friday, where the atmosphere was calm with nearly 24 hours until the game.
The day started early at Frederick Douglass International Airport, where Mills caught up with fans.
Among them were Luke Lezyk and Mark Mortimer, fans from Watkins Glen, who expressed their excitement for the upcoming game.
“This decision was made last weekend when the Bills won, and we were like alright were both fans of the teams so let’s go to Denver,” said Lezyk.
Duane Draper, from Rochester, and George Frick, from Holley, were at the airport Friday morning sporting their Bills blue while heading on vacation.
“It’s a total community,” said Frick. “That’s what’s fun about it.”
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, which is 2:30 p.m. local time in Denver. Mills will continue to meet with more Bills fans throughout the day in the Mile High City. Check back later for updates.
