ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three suspects in a violent kidnapping and assault case made an appearance in Rochester City Court on Thursday.
Wilson Ventura Cruz and Carlos DeJesus were accused of kidnapping two people over a drug debt. The incident occurred on Weyl Street early Saturday morning.
The Monroe County grand jury voted to indict them on at least one felony count. No new court date will be scheduled for them until the grand jury rises.
Rose Colon and Eliezer Davila were also charged in the case, and have a new court date set for Jan. 29. Colon did not appear in court.
During the investigation, police found two loaded guns, a bloody sword, and nearly 300 vials of suspected fentanyl. Both of the victims say they were assaulted, bound with tape, and bitten by a dog. Officers tell us they suffered significant injuries.
